Step into Sport Refund Policy

Purpose:  

To outline the procedures and conditions under which participants may request a refund for fees paid for sports club activities. This policy aims to ensure transparency and fairness for all members.

1. Scope of the Policy:  

This policy applies to all registered members of the sports club, covering fees for subscriptions, Afterschool clubs, tournaments, Holiday camps

2. General Refund Guidelines:

– Refunds will be considered based on the circumstances outlined in this policy.

– All refund requests must be submitted in writing, detailing the reason for the request.

– Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method whenever possible.

3. Afterschool clubs

  Full refund if the request is made before the start of the first club.

  If the child has attended the club then a refund will be worked out dependent on the amount of sessions already attended.

After 6 sessions then you will no longer be entitled to a refund unless its for exceptional circumstances.

Holiday camps

A full refund will be issued if 24 hours notice is given.

With 12 hours notice you will receive a 50% refund.

Subscriptions for coaching centres

If you decide to stop attending our sessions it is your responsibility to cancel the subscription.

Step into Sport will cancel if requested.

No refunds are given.

International tours.

Deposits are Non-refundable.

The outstanding balance is refunded up until August 31st and then no refunds are given.

– Medical Reasons:  

  A full refund may be issued for medical reasons with a doctor’s note providing verification.

– Cancellation of Activities:  

  If the club cancels a session, tournament, or event, a full refund will be provided to all participants.

4. Non-Refundable Fees:

– Registration fees and any contributions for specific equipment or uniforms are generally non-refundable once incurred.

5. Refund Request Process:

     1. Submit Request: 

   A written request must be submitted to the club administrator or designated email, including relevant details such as:

   – Participant’s name

   – Reason for the refund request

   – Date of the request

   – Payment receipt (if applicable)

   2. Review:  

   The club administrator will review the request and respond within five business days.

  3. Issuance of Refund:  

   Approved refunds will be processed within two weeks depending on the payment method used.

  4. Appeals Process:  

If a refund request is denied, members have the right to appeal the decision by submitting a written letter to the club committee. The committee will review the appeal and provide a final decision within ten business days.

   5. Policy Review:  

This refund policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it meets the needs of members and the operational capacity of the sports club.
